Don and Deana moved to Ashland in 1996 to follow their dream of leaving their corporate jobs behind and becoming innkeepers. They searched the West Coast and the Southwest before deciding on Ashland and the Romeo Inn. Don is a Ham radio operator, assising in various emergency drills as part of the Jackson County Amateur Radio Emergency Services. He volunteers with the Ashland Police Department and the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) as well as the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Deana volunteers at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and is an avid crafter. She creates and donates greeting cards to be used by our military. Deana also enjoys gardening, reading, baking and cooking.
