It is often said that "America is a Land of Opportunity”! It certainly has been for Adam and Susan Lemon, having made a life changing decision to move from Zimbabwe, their original home for the past 50 odd years, to Ashland, Oregon. If they had been told that they would be the proud new owners of Abigail's Bed and Breakfast Inn and USA Citizens would they have still made the same decisions that they made in 2014. The answer would be a resounding YES!
Susan has had a passionate “love affair” with food, wine, hospitality and people for the last forty years of her life. A self taught chef with a thirst for food and wine knowledge, she felt that Abigail’s was the perfect canvas for her "love affair". Adam is the family's “Bean Counter”– the accountant - the stability in this partnership, who has over the years been greatly influenced by Susan's passion for the hospitality industry. They have a wonderful son, Matthew, who has remained in Africa with his family. In owning Abigail’s, their greatest achievement has been not only to maintain a high professional standard of hospitality but to grow and add to it. To that extent both Susan and Adam aim to give their Guests twice the welcome, twice the comfort and twice the value for all who pass through the doors of Abigail’s Bed and Breakfast Inn.
